my visit to
firesky resort and spa was nothing short of
wow. this intimate size property (204 rooms and 14,000 sq ft space) offers the perfect space ratio for groups who seek a
hip and trendy destination. elements of wellness are implemented into the group experience to make meetings anything but ordinary. guest rooms are designed by renown cynthia rolley and her famous "feel" is apparent in the unique leopard robes, triple sheeted 300-ct feretti bedding and overall decor. the senses/elements are addressed and experienced by all who visit.
location is key! firesky is within walking distance to many scottsdale venues (old town, fashion square, nightlife - and more) and a quick 20 minutes from phoenix sky harbor airport. outdoor group events are a must. their outdoor area is ultra 'cool' and has been rated in the "top 10 cool pools" of phoenix. for those cooler evenings, fire pits are sure to warm anyone's heart (and soul) coupled with fun and s'mores as well.
while the resort has a south beach feel (tied into all natural elements), i reiterate "intimate" and add "organic" as key descriptions. intimate lends not only to size, yet to the comfortable resort feel and to the very personal care extended. every morning guests are invited to join staff and other customers for coffee service (organic coffees and teas) and to return in the evening to "wine hour" - all complimentary and served in their "living room" (lobby). taggia (the 4-star coastal italian restaurant) boasts the best chefs and their (organic) products are flown in daily. not to mention, firesky uses their own grown herbs (both for cooking and in their magnificent
"jurlique spa"). "forget It? we've got it" - if you forgot a necessity, they will provide you with it.
"guppy love" is a very special program whereby
vips enjoy a live 'buddy' fishbowl in their room (maintained by staff). wonderful special touches of home - only at firesky resort and spa.
