the first day of our road trip culminated in an evening stay at the rancho bernardo inn. if there would be a term to describe the resort i would have to describe it as "comfortably inspiring" as you first check in you immediately feel a sense of comfort noticing the many 'living room like" sitting areas, the natural beauty of vine clad walkways leading passed outdoor lounges ringing stucco fireplaces. the 287 guest rooms of the resort are incredibly spacious newly updated with private patios or balconies that open up to a spectacular golf course in your "backyard." the 45,000 + sq ft of indoor/outdoor meeting space including the newly built aragon conference center places attendees in wondrous gardens, naturally lit event function rooms and tree lined courtyards.
